Our Story

Founded with a passion for mindfulness and intentional craftsmanship, Tideful creates journals that invite you to pause, reflect, and capture the rhythms of your journey. Each page is designed as a gentle space for your thoughts, dreams, and experiences to flow.

Tideful was born on the shores of Phuket, Thailand, where our founder Kat Tisdale lived while teaching yoga. Each morning, she journaled with the ocean as her backdrop, feeling deeply connected to its calming yet powerful presence. Inspired by the sea’s constant ebb and flow, she coined the word Tideful - a mindful, meditative state that mirrors the rhythm of the tides.

From that moment, her vision grew: to create journals that are not only beautifully designed and sustainably sourced, but also tools for grounding, clarity, and connection.
